Giant Disappointment

So I guess if you are going to lose a playoff game, losing it in a nail biter that went down to the wire and ended with a 38-yard field goal as time expires is not necessarily a bad way to go out. It could have been a blow out where your team is already beaten at the end of the first quarter and you are just praying for the game to end.
Yes, the Giants were defeated by the division rival Eagles. With the finality of the playoffs, it's hard to let go of Super Bowl dreams, even though I knew in my heart that the Giants didn't have much of a shot.
Still, as a fan of the New York Football Giants, I am sad to say goodbye to Tiki Barber. He is possibly the greatest Giant running back of all time and it will be interesting to see how the team adapts and plays without him.
So now we move with the battle cry of 31 other teams in the NFL. "There's always next year."
